Body hair

Postby jaffy on Wed Oct 01, 2008 7:28 am

Well summer season is almost upon us down here and I've got that question that is burning on the minds of every teenage/early twenties year old bloke going to head down to the beach. Plenty of attractive young girls with rockin beach bods (and those huge sunnies that make even the most repulsive and ugly girls look absolutely mint. remember - the bigger the sunnies the more there is to hide) down at the beach.

As it turns out of got a European heritage and with that comes an amount of body hair that surely can't be attractive? It's concentrated in weird places. From the belly button downwards it is like a triangle shape, with the belly button being the apex, it is quite heavily concentrated. There is a little snail trail that goes from the belly button up to the tip of the sternum. From the sternum up to the same level as the top of my titties (not man boobs, not large) there is a very high concentration of hair about 4cm in diameter. My nipples are hairy as f***. The top of my chest is only a little bit hairy, not highly concetrated.

Now if my body hair resembled that of a lion instead of a baby cub I would be inclined to keep it and wear it as a badge of honour. But it's not like that which brings me back to my original point of should I get it removed? And How? I've heard that women prefer guys with a clean slate because they're "better for licking" but questions of my sexuality will be received if i am to go through with this hair removal. I would feel emasculated (is that even a word?) if I went through with this but it would definentely increase my confidence.

Thoughts would be much appreciated.

If it helps your confidence, then do it. That's the bottom line.

Other than that, a preference to body hair seems to depend on the woman. I don't think it's going to be a deal killer either way. As to it's removal bringing up questions of your sexuality?! wtf?! If you like chicks, then that's all that matters. Body hair has 0 to do with ones sexual preferences. if it conveys "playing for the other team" where you're from, then consider it's removal a form of peacocking. Shit, maybe it's good if a woman thinks you're gay, it lets you in under the radar.

My thought has always been who cares what others think. "Yeah, I'm queer as a football bat." spoken while you're boning your 4th hot babe for the week carries very little weight right? So who gives a fuck what others say or think - as long as what you're doing is working, and it boosts your confidence, then do it.

As to how? Not entirely sure as I'm not a hairy dude, but waxing seems to be a longer term solution than shaving daily or something. *shrug* anyone else have any ideas for him?

Yeah I agree with silver on the who cares note.
But as far as hair removal goes I'd say wax it off for a while KELLY CLARKSON! and then see if you like the look/feel of it. Test it out and the good thing is you could always do it again if you need more time. After that if you want permanent removal, theres Laser Hair Removal. It costs 400-600 or something like that but the results are good. Your skin is going to be rough for a week or to but after that itll be nice and smooth :)

But obviously ask a doctor or professional about that.

The leg hair always got me though. I am REALLY hairy (not the hairiest, but hairier then most) and I never know what to do about the leg hair. Is there any way to reduce hair? :S
