Today I did the first challenge. I went to a mall and made my way from top to bottom throwing "Hi, how are you?" at 50 strangers. At my first
10 approaches I was either talking too loud so the people were startled or or my voice was too low and they did not notice my approach. But after
the first ten approaches I did get reactions like "Thanks good, and you?"
or they were weirded out. After the first approaches I got more more relaxed as I kept going but then suddenly I began to avoid approaches so I had to push myself back in. One guy actually stoped and tried to remember my name although we never met. That was kinda funny.
The only bad reaction was the 50th and last approach. It was a set of three girls sitting on a bench. The girl sitting in the middle seemed to be pissed off by me approaching them. My AA after this challenge has decreased but its still there. So I think I will try out the 9 approaches in 10 minutes drill.
