*meh* no offense intended, but who cares? lol! IMHO, if a hairstyle looks good on you, then go with it. I mean Matador (Mystery's wing) has John Stamos's Hairstyle from Full House circa 1989, and he still picks up. Go with what looks best for you and damn the trends :)

I just gel my hair and flick the fringe, basic, but meh. Although if you have the money to fork out for a flashy new hair cut, go for it. It'll make the girls more attracted to you and even if it doesn't it'll get you attention, which is always good game. I wouldn't go shaving dildos and shit into my hair though, you need to know when something is too much. (Chicks usually dig 'emo hair')

I watched season 2 of PUA before season 1 so when I first saw Matador it was with the long hair, and damn it worked good with him, that hair was not just on Matador, that shit WAS Matador.. haha. He doesnt look as cool with his season 1 hair, I dunno why but the long hair completed his avatar, obviously he gets chicks without it, but I liked his hair in season 2 and it is rare that I really have feelings about another guys hair....

You probably don't want to use a gel. A pomade, wax, or paste gives a much nicer looking finish to the hair. Gel looks wet and shiny which really isn't in anymore, unless your a New Jersey douche. Also, don't do a simple flat top and spike your bangs forward. Your hair stylist probably can recommend you a product to use. I would recommend Bumble and Bumble sumotech, Gatsby, or American Crew.

Again, stay away from gel.
