hey, orite so i'm very new to all of this, my name is Scott and i'm 23. I got married young at 19, and separated a few months ago. It was a mutual break up, she was older than me and got that mothering urge, i am not (and may not ever be) ready for kids, so we figured we'd rather be friends than end up in a hateful relationship.
anyways if you can be bothered reading this i will try and explain how i got into the PUA scene.
i have always been shy when it comes to new people, i make friends fairly easily, but i tend to just stick with the few i still have. I do get really shy when new people come along, especially if they are a friend of a friend, where someone i am usually at ease with will now be in their comfort zone with their friend. I find it hard to say things to their friend.
I always had a hard time talkin to girls, making them seem a bit alien i spose. When i was in high school i would say 60% of my friends were girls. I cant really remember how i got talkin to so many, but i did. the thing is tho that they were all great, but most of them werent exactly pretty. A few were tho but i was just straight in the friend zone there...
I knew nothing about the PUA scene until i was watching a show on TV (Louis Theroux) which featured Ross Jeffries. More out of curiosity i looked him up to see what he was up to these days... anyways many sites later i came across mypuajourney.com (on puawatchdog.com actually, and no i dont agree with their views on this site, and i commented on that!) and instantly liked the fact that Jack was starting from a similar point.
orite so long story short i wanna build my confidence in unfamiliar situations and have the balls to go up to anyone i want. i know they are people just like anyone else but theres that thing in ur head that just pulls you back.
okay then, hope to talk more soon!
scott
