A shy high schooler struggling to be a PUA

Postby ELxGuApOxRoKo125 on Mon Apr 20, 2009 8:05 pm

hey let me start off by introducing myself my name is Jonathan 17 about to be 18 in august im Puerto Rican and here's my life with women all my life i had 2 girlfriends 1 was for my looks but couldn't hold it up it lasted only a weekend basically i was just so scared and nervous to do anything to her and fu***** gave her the most nervous kiss ever lol and the second girl i picked her up over myspace after the experience over the first girl i didnt have much trouble talking but the convos were liike blaah and again i had a real prob with doing stuff with her like kissing and touching and stuff she only lasted a month

but moving on from my past girlfriends and moving on to the field i have the biggest approaching anxiety i cant even approach 1 girl and say hi to her even when i have the right material to say i just cant seem to approach and in school i have a couple of friends that are girls but i can never talk to them they always categorize me as a quite shy guy and the never want to talk to me and when i do talk to them the seem creeped out because the already perceive me as this shy quite guy and they just seem liike wow he's actually talking or maybe its just in my head
but anyways alot of times when i actually get the balls to approach i get nervous and my tone of voice gets very serious and it makes me seem like a bad disrespectful guy and i have a very deep voice its kind of hard to come off as a nice guy sometimes

currently im seeking any kind of help from anyone i really want to become a PUA and im dedicated to it but i just don't seem to be progressing feel free to leave your thoughts and thanks for reading....

i can relate to most of what you're saying. i may not have been quite that quiet or shy around girls i knew in high school, but i never had a relationship that i would count or even a kiss back in those days.

i'm now 22 and i've got some advice for you, but it probably won't be an easy journey at first, or even for a good while.

before i or anyone else on here waste their time you have to make sure you're serious.

if you can prove to me you're serious by adding some F****** periods to your writing so that it's comprehensible and correcting the made up word "alot" into its proper form "a lot" with a space in the middle, i'll do my best to help you.

LOL! Rhetoric, you dick!

Seriously, E (I'm not even going to try to re-type that name!) There is a lot of great advice on the forums about overcoming approach anxiety, and methods to at least help decrease it / learn how to start / hold conversations. I'm sure you can find some useful stuff here to get you started on your journey.

haha. lol. i know, i can't help myself sometimes.

either way, E i have a few questions you should answer after you correct your grammar in the first post. these will help out.

what year are you in high school? are you graduating?

if yes, do you plan on going to college? if yes, do you plan on commuting or living there?

do you have a job? if yes, what is it? if no, do you plan on getting a summer job?

do you have any friends who can relate or at least understand your situation that may help to push you along the way?

grammar is always important. just because this is an internet forum doesn't mean you should type and spell like a seconded grader from the projects. you expect people to read what you write, correct? in order to do so they have to be able to read it with ease. it's annoying having to read something slowly in order to figure out what the hell it says. i know no one likes a grammar nazi, but come on, act like you have some form of education.

don't be lazy. people who type sloppy usually are sloppy. people who are sloppy usually have sloppy game. people with sloppy game get nowhere other then where they are already.

you failed test one. you're not ready. either that or you're just not serious enough. you expect people to feed you answers without putting in any effort yourself. someone else can help you, or you can just search the forums. many of the issues you mentioned have already been discussed by others on here somewhere.

Oi mate, I don't give a shit ow you type or what your grammar or spellin's like, if I can read it, I'm fuckin happy. Not everyone speaks the same, why type the same. Stand your ground E, good lad.

The way I see it, not everyone is a native English speaker. If E's first language is not English, then as long as I understand more or less what he's saying its also ok with me. Just out of curiousity Rhetoric, how many languages do u speak?? I speak 3 (and currently learning a 4th), therefore I understand how hard it is learning/speaking another language. Nothing personal, but try learning another language (if you do not already know another one), and you'll know exactly what I mean. If you're such a grammar nazi, at least tell the guy where hes going wrong instead of badmouthing the guy. Anyway, thats my 2 cents :)

Why scare away a new user? We could give you admin priveleges and you can go and correct everyone's typing.

That is just ridiculous.....all he wanted was some help and it ended up being a fucked up school lesson that he didn't even ask for. That's some messed up stuff.
